I'm looking for information on Elijah Hamby Blanton the brother of Rev. Benjamin Franklin Blanton. On Josiah and Lucy Blanton's gravestone it reads "In memory of our brothers, J.L., M.H. and E.H Blanton who fell in honor at the Battle of Corinth, 4 October 1862. I know that Jeremiah L. and Marion Howell Blanton were both in the 9th Reg't Texas Cavalry while Benjamin was in the 31st but I can find no records on E.H. (Elijah Hamby Blanton) who died in 1867 in Gonzales.
