Re: 14th TX Cavalry (dismounted)

Our great-grandfather George Richard Gautier (also spelled gotier) joined the 14th TX Cav in Dallas Texas. He fought and was wounded at Corinth, Mississippi and sent to recuperate at a hospital in Columbus, Mississippi. After her recuperated, he walked back home to Texas and joined the 15th TX Cav which surrendered at Arkansas Pass and was sent to a confederate prison. We would like to know more about the battles he fought at in Corinth. Thanks so much.
