Capts. Cherry and Lilly

In tracing some of my Civil War ancestors, I've been unable to locate the service record for Martin Van Buren BARTON of Upshur County, Texas. Interestingly, his widow was granted a Confederate pension with only a notation of service in "Stone's Brigade, Captains Lilly snd Stone formed company F - cavalry." No other information was documented.

I've been unable to find any information on Cherry and Lilly to give me a clue to the regiment.

His brothers served in the 2nd Tx Infantry, 3rd TX Cavalry, 36th TX Cavalry, and the 17th TX Cavalry.

Any suggestions appreciated.
