Charles M. Walker, 1st Lieutenant, Company C, 1st Regiment Texas Cavalry*, appointed November 23, 1861, sent to Hospital, n.d., died near Kings Rancho, Texas, June 13, 1863 of Small Pox, no other records

* The 1st (Yager's) Regiment Texas Cavalry was formed about May, 1863 by the consolidation of the 3rd (Yager's) Battalion Texas Cavalry, the 8th (Taylor's) Battalion Texas Cavalry and Captain Ware's Company Texas Cavalry. It was also known in the field as the 1st Regiment Texas Mounted Rifles
