Pvt. James B. Binion, Co E, Nelson's 10th Texas Inf. was enlisted on April 10, 1862 at Camp Brazos, Texas by Capt. McKanry ( not sure of spelling) for the duration of the war. He was detailed as a Wagoner on May 25, 1862. He died August 4, 1862 at Camp Texas, Arkansas, which was just on the southwest edge of Little Rock, Arkansas.
