Looking for any information on Daniel Henry Triplett and his brother Wellington Triplett. They both served in 21st Regiment, Texas Cavalry (1st Texas Lancers). I know that Wellington was killed during the war.
Daniel was discharged and his wife sought and obtained a widows pension. Her pension was filed Feb 23, 1916 and approved on Feb 24, 1913 and she started drawing her pension on March 1, 1916. The Widows pension application has two numbers on it the first number is 30925, written in black ink, appears to be written when the application was made. The second number 32499 is in Blue as are the word dead and the date 5-29-26. This is close to the time of her death on 21 May 1926. In the pension records the file number is listed as 34299.
