Let me introduce myself. My name is Carl Evans, and I am the gg grandson of James Felix Evans. I saw your post on searching for John P. and W.W. Evans; they are brothers of my g grandfather, Francis Marion Evans (that is my father's name as well). I am relatively new at trying to "trace my roots", and have hit the wall with the Evans at Felix. Four generations is just too soon for that to happen! So I'm curious if you have any information on James Felix Evans (John P. and Wm W.'s father), and would be willing to share it. I'd appreciate any help you are willing to provide. I thank you in advance! As for me, I was born in Galveston, but we moved to San Antonio when I was nine. After finishing at UT Austin, I landed a job out of state, and have moved around the country - now in Illinois.
