Phil , The name Reeves struck a note. I think he may be Geo. R. Reeves Col. 11th Tex. Cav. They were in the area until Aug. of 62 when they became part of Ector's Brigade according to Mr. Sifakis' book. The other name is I think John B. Puryear a Major in the same Unit. (possibly ) On one thing it looks like Co.b Breviors Regt and the other looks like Purveyr's Regt. Best Regards , Charlie Peal
