As I began reading notes I made on my family tree I see that I show others (sadly, I did not show my source) that I noted, long ago, that were in Co. G 34th TX Cavalry:
1. John C. Fowler b. @1818 KY (recently discovered)
2. (MAYBE) William David Fowler b. @1845 MO (son of John C. & Olivia Heath Fowler)
3. Horace Gray (I think is James Horace Gray b. @1842, son of John Ross & Olivia Heath Gray &
cousin to William David Fowler)
4. Nelson Crowder Cogdell b. @1841 MO, 2nd husband of Rachel Ellen Fowler (1) Lewis, dau of John
C. & Olivia Heath Fowler.

Of course I cannot locate any of them on a list now. I found it interesting that I had listed Nelson Crowder Cogdell & Horace Gray long ago, I really wish I had listed my source but when I began I did not know anyone else who did this and learned by trial and error until I met others doing genealogy.

I appreciate all the help that others have given me.
