Locke for 12 months, recorded as 1st Lieutenant December 31, 1861, wounded at the battle of Chickamauga September 19, 1863, sent to hospital, returned to duty February 21, 1864, present April 28, 1864 in camp near Tuscaloosa, Ala., assigned as Captain August 3, 1864 to take rank from September 25, 1863, date of vacancy caused by the death of the Company Commander, no further records

* This company subsequently became Company H, 10th Regiment Texas Cavalry
