My ggrandfather was supposedly in this unit, am trying to find out more about where the men in the unit came from, where they enlisted, etc. My Hiram Boyd was living in Fannin Co., TX before the war. I'm hoping that this unit had men from that county. Also looking for where it was engaged.
Anyone with any information? Or where to look?
