Thank you for your response. Rebecca was married to Thomas Jefferson Adams, her maiden name is unknown, although some think it was something like "Funnyhouse." She was part Cherokee Indian. We have census records on the family: 1850 in Desoto Parish, LA, then in Panola county Texas from 1850-1880. She did not receive a pension from her husband, but one son also fought in the Civil war, Hood's Texas Brigade, his name was John B. Adams and she received a pension from his service.
