I would like to find info: about John Malcolm Johnston-1821-Miss. married Martha Boyd in 1845 at Caldwell Parish, La. They were in Polk Co.Tex.1860 He entered the Conf. in Polk Co.or Liberty Co. He was rewared land in Liberty Co.Tex.. for his dedication in the War..He setteled in Houston Co.Tex.-He was living with his youngest daughter, Amanda in 1880, in Houston Co.Tex. and in 1900 with a younger wife [O.A.].I would like to find his Service # or his Pension #..And find his burial site and date !!,I think he might have been in the 22nd Texas Inf.-Company F.
