May be old news to you, but well into the 1950's, the remains of the Gun Works were very visible and in pretty good shape at West Columbia, Texas, I have not been in that country in years, may not be there anymore. I was told by my Grandparents who lived in the area that the Gun Works were moved to La Grange, Texas during the War.
