If your looking for what that particular company wore early in the war,it may be good to see if you can find a web-site of a historical society from that area. Maybe they would have a source for contemporary accounts (newspapers for example)that describe the uniforms....this would be a long shot.
Did any 6th Va survivors write a history of their regiment after the war?..maybe.

I read what the other Phil that wrote...if you cant find anything more specific...I agree with him.

Now if you want a say 1863 appearance,when Richmond was providing for the men,let me know and I can give your more info,because much more is known.
