My Great-Great-Great Grandfather was Hiriam Goad. He served in a Virginia regiment but I am not sure which one he was from Carroll County VA. I only learned recently that he was killed in the Battle of Resaca GA. I found on line tonight pictures of the Confederate Cemetery there. Does anyone know if there is a list of the identified soldiers that were buried there? I am now living in Nashville TN area and not that far away from Resaca and would to pay tribute to my relativeby visiting his final resting place. Otherwise I assume he is one of the unknowns?
