thank you for your response. i am overwhelmed with my family ancestors that fought from virginia, that i haven't explored too much further. i have family out of kentucky, north carolina, arkansas, new york, and illinois that i haven't yet researched. i believe there to be a very prominant lumsden officer from alabama. if i could only relate him to may lineage, it would mean inclusion into the mosb as well as my present scv. i have a long road to travel on that venture though. thank you.
