My great-great grandfather, Angus McDonald, founded the 7th Virginia Cavalry. His son, my great-grandfather and namesake, William McDonald, wrote a book on one of its companies, led by Ashby and later Rosser, called "The History of the Laurel Brigade." Is there today a reenactors group for either the 7th Va. Cav. or Laurel Brigade? Thanks.
