I don't recall where I saw the article. I have beeen trying to retrace my steps to where I may find it. When I do I will place a post here. I must admit my curiosity was peaked when I saw it as I had never heard of any units from the far west crossing the Mississippi. I believe I came upon it when I was looking for info on Woodson's co. of Missourians who served in the ANV.
