Good for you! Always keep up on the history channel. My ancestors seemed about half and half for survival. My G-G- Grandfather was KIA at Laurel Gap, Va. on Oct.1,1864. My G-G- Uncle Dan died of Typhoid in August 1862. and my G-G Uncle Hiram spent from Aug. 1864 until he was paroled in March, 1865 as a prisoner at Point Lookout, Md. I myself am a reenactor.
