I love watching the history channel too. I like Gettysburg and my other favorite movie is Gods and Generals. I wish they would make The Last Full Measure since they've made the other 2 in the trilogy.
Some of my Civil War ancestors made it home alive but 2 of mine were KIA. One of them was killed at Malvern Hill, VA. and another ancestor was shot at Chancellorsville, VA and died a few days later from pneumonia. Another ancestor of mine died of Typhoid Fever.
