In Response To: Colonel Angus W. McDonald ()

Mike

Angus W McDonald's home was in Winchester. I recently read "A Woman's Civil War: A Diary with Reminiscences of the War, from March 1862" which was written by his wife, Cornelia Peake McDonald, and tells of the hardships of life in Winchester during the war, and her subsequent move to Lexington, with her young family, including the death of Angus McDonald. If you are interested in Col McDonald, it is well worth reading it.

If you would care to drop me an e-mail, I have some other information on the McDonalds.

Regards - Anne
