Thank you to Keith and O.Lee for both your answers. The reason for my inquiry was my ancestor; Capt.Samuel Bradford Brown of the 39th VA Calvary was present at (or around) the court house proceedings. My family is trying to specify his presence at the time. Thanks again gentlemen.
