There was a John S. Hutchinson with the 10th VA Infantry, Co. H. He was MI a private and MO a corporal. Don't know if this could be the right one or not. Check out the National Park Service Soldier and Sailor listing for more possibilities. This man was the only Confederate in the listing under that full name but there are others under similar names (J.S. for instance). I would check out the battles that he was in according to his book and cross reference that with that regiment's history. You can also get some of that info from the NPS site as well. Good luck!
