Isaacs was listed as having been wounded at Yorktown, Virginia, according to a roll of his company (K/11 Virginia) published in, A History of Rockbridge County, by Oren F. Morton. As for your follow-on post, the 42nd North Carolina regiment was not present at Gettysburg.
