On 5/15/1862 he mustered into "C" Co. VA 63rd Infantry
He deserted on 6/26/1864 at Marietta, GA
He was listed as:
* Wounded (date and place not stated) (Per Post War Record no place or date)
* Arrested 10/15/1863 (place not stated) (Estimated day)
* Oath Allegiance 7/14/1864 (place not stated)
He was described at enlistment as:
5' 4", dark complexion, dark eyes, dark hair
(Also served in Grayson County Militia. Granted pension
in 1900.)
