I was wondering: Were Civil War Pictures taken of all soldiers?

And if so, How could I find a possible website (or) Photo Company
that was incharge of keeping a photo record "if there was one" or
how I could research to see if any old Civil War Picture of my
Civil War Ancestors were taken - and possible out there somewhere?

If there's not such a website. Then this would be a great website
to start up; (where other's can submit copies of their ancestors
unit or company pictures - that might be helpful to the rest of us).
