Thanks for asking... Okay, are you ready for the list?

My G.G.G.G.-Grandfather JOHN H. BOON(e) fought for the
7th Va. Cavalry/Harris' Co/Ashby's Cavalry. Died abt. 1863.

My G.G.G.-Grandfather RECTOR PILES/Pyles fought for the
114th Va. Militia - under Captain Alexander Monroe; later
62nd Va. Mounted Infantry Regiment, Co. G., and transferred
18th Va. Cavalry, Co. K, under Capt. John H. PILES (I'm
assuming a relation to my Rector Piles, possible an Uncle).

I believe Rector Piles, also had a younger brother John Piles
that also served along with him too. As well as his brother-
in-law, Peter Asbury Saville. Rector Piles, survived the war.

I also had two G.G.G.-Uncles; John Henry Newlin/Newland and
Mathias/Matthias J. Newlin/Newland - that I believe fought in
51st Va. Militia Regiment. John and Mathias Newlin, survived
the war.

I had a G.G.G.-Uncle Ignatius W. Cooper, that fought in the
51st Va. Militia Regiment, Co. F. Ignatius, survived the war.

(But, I'm wondering if his older brother Sharon Cooper, may
have fought in a pre-Civil War (Militia), because he died in
1859, "either in Hampshire Co, Va/W.Va., or Frederick Co, Va.)

I had a G.G.G.-Grandfather Charles Sydnor Snapp, that fought in
12th Va. Cavalry, Co. C. Charles, survived the war.

I had other ancestors that fought, but I don't know what unit
or companies they fought for, at this time; listed (below).

Lewis/Louis Newlin/Newland - Maybe for Winchester, Frederick Co, Va.
George Lowry/Lowery - Maybe for Hampshire "or" Winchester, Va.
William Loy - Maybe for Hampshire "or" Winchester, Va., area.
(Maybe) Lanious Cooper - Maybe for Hampshire "or" Winchester, Va.
(Maybe) Magus Cooper - Maybe for Hampshire "or" Winchester, Va.
John Lewis - Maybe for Frederick Co, Va., area.
Laurens Jones - Maybe for Frederick Co, Va., area.
William Martin Snapp, Maybe for Shenandoah Co, Va., area.
William Dean, Maybe for Hampshire Co, "Old" Va/W.Va., area.
Aaron Dean, Maybe for Hampshire Co, Va/W.Va., area.
Jeremiah Dean, Maybe for Hampshire Co, Va/W.Va., area.
Benjamin Anthony Dean, Maybe for Hampshire Co, Va/W.Va., area.
