Can anyone tell me if there's such a website that explains
the different RANKS (In) and (Out) of a Civil War Soldier?

(For Example):

Most Soldiers (Started IN) as a Private. What were the
different RANKINGS of a (Soldier)? And can you explain
a little bit, about each (Rank); and what that person's
duty would have consisted of.

I have seen some Soldiers listed as a Wagoner, or Drummer.
Drummer I can pretty much figure out... :) Usually they
were the youngsters (probably under 16) who played the drums
for the soldiers going into battle.
