Is it just me, or am I imagening that when you click on State of Virginia Archives sites that you are sent to various for profit orginizations and individuals, Genaology.com, ancestry.com, and others. Why is it that our state government does not allow it's citizens access to the military service records of Confederate States Army units from Virginia, as well as individual soldiers records.
