Well, I wasn't that much help Tom. But there are a few fellows that check this board that have the complete burial records for Oakwood Cemetery. They are a closely guarded treasure as the research that went into them are vast. I say that "tongue in cheek" as any of those closely associated with Oakwood will be more than happy to assist you I am sure. The SCV (not only Virginia) has hit Oakwood Cemetery like the troops landing at Normandy. Oakwood will soon be the "Arlington of The Confederacy". I'll check on your ancestor with the friends that I have in case none of the "gate keepers" see this. But by all means, call the cemetery office.
