Virginia Partisans

At the end of April 1863, just before the Battle of Chancellorsville, a detachment of the Oneida Cavalry (NYSV) under the command of Captain Mann made a raid through Westmoreland and Richmond counties in the State of Virginia. Eight prisoners were taken. Four were alleged to have been spies, smugglers or guerrillas. Their names were Richard D. Gutridge, B. Johnson, William P. Jones, and James O'Kearny. Does anyone have information regarding the war time activities of these men or of the raid I mentioned?
