When I visited Culpeper two years ago, I used the map I found in The Campaigns of Stuart's Cavalry by H. B. McClellan to locate a couple of sites that interested me. The map is titled "Vincinity of Brandy Station." Many farm names are noted. With the use of that map and a modern one, I was able to locate some sites associated with the September 13, 1863 cavalry battle near Culpeper.
