Re: 9th, 10th and 13th Virginia Cavalry

For what it's worth, I could only find these three entries in the Record of Events for the 3 regiments.

Company G,13th Virginia Cavalry, Record of Events for:

Sept. & Oct. 1863, dated Oct. 31, 1863, stationed near Culpeper, C. H., Va.

This company was engaged in a fight with the enemy at Culpeper on the 13th Sept. and had one (1) wounded & crossed the Rapidan on the 14th Sept. On the 11th Oct, encountered the enemy at Morton's Ford & followed him to & fought him at Brandy Station having one (1) man wounded & six (6) horses killed. It was engaged on the 13th Oct. near Catlett's Station the 15th Oct at Manassas & the 18th Oct. at Buckland without any casualty & on the 19th crossed the Rappahannock at Bevery's Ford.

Company H, same period, dated Oct. 31, 1863 near Brandy Station, Va.

This company encountered the enemy at Morton's Ford on the 11th October driving the enemy back with a loss of two men wounded. pursuing the enemy to Manassas. Fought him at Buckland without any loss, retired to south side Rappahannock

Company I, near Culpeper C. H.

This company was in the several engagements of Martin's ford and Brandy station Oct 11 63 losing one man killed, near Catletts station Oct 13 losing one dangerously wounded, Manassas Oct 15 having one slightly wounded and Buckland without any loss, on the 18 and retired across the Rappahannock the 1oth.
