I am looking for further Civil War service information on George Washington Butt or Butts. He lived in Norfolk, Independent City, Virginia in the 1850 and 1870 Federal Census, I'm still looking for an 1860 Census. He lists his birth as 1827 or 1830 in Virginia. He may have possibly had a brother named John Butt/Butts also born in Virginia in 1831. There was a George W. Butts that had service in "Vickerys Company" 6th Virginia Infantry out of Norfolk, could this be him? In the 1850 Census George lists his occupation as "Coach Maker". Thank you for your help.
