Thanks for the reply. Firstly, sorry for posting my inquiry in the VA message board. I'm still learning how to use this site. I thaught it was all one message board until I started to explore it a bit more. I've been researching several confederate regiments from different states, concentrating on their experiences during the overland campaign and after, and the good people who visit this site have been most helpful. Being a New Zealander, I am unable to access a lot of things that an American can on the ground. Such as libraries and county records etc. At the moment, my company has me working in China which limits me even more. Their firewall means there are certain things I can't access online.
