His pay records on Footnote/Fold3 end with April 1863. He died at Ft. Delaware, in 1865, and is buried at Finn's Point Cemetery, where he is listed as being with Co. G, 16th Cavalry. Both were under the command of Stuart, so I suspect he was reassigned and sent to Gettysburg.
Other than the sparse records on Footnote/Fold 3, do you have suggestions for other places to look? His wife died MANY years after him, but doesn't seem to have filed for a pension.
