died 2/28/1889 in Augusta County, VA

* This company was divided July 29, 1862, and a portion of it formed (2nd) Company K of this regiment

1st Company A became Capt. McClanahan's Company, Virginia Horse Artillery about February, 1863

There are no records under his name in those of McClanahan's Horse Artillery and I do not believe there are any muster rolls on record for this unit
