Having been a reanactor, I agree with Fredrick. One thing that turned me off to the hobby was the lack of authenticity. Trouble is to many guys out there put the kitchen sink on their uniforms. They want to impress their family with the adornments I guess. Alls they have to do is look at the photos from the national archives, but sadly they dont. The uniforms are to clean and tidy for my liking.
