Looking for information about the 7th VA. Cav. and three brothers. Particularly Allen Devier/Dever/Deviers. His records indicate that he was in the 7th Va. Cavalry. However, he has several cards (Dever) that indicate he was a POW captured at Rome, GA with the 7th Miss. One of his brothers was Hiram and I do not know the other brother's name. Any assistance would be appreciated. We do not want to remove him from our 7th Regiment Mississippi Infantry Roster until we are sure that his records are a transcription error. Regards, Ron Skellie
