Hi John,
You helped my cousin Julianne Coleman with some information on him back in 1996 for a college paper. My brother found the paper about a month ago in a basement. Reading it really sparked my interest about my great, great grandfather. However there are a few inconsistencies in the paper (they may be just typos) that I am trying to clear up for a family presentation at the end of July when part of the family gets together, (there are probably over 100 of us now).

The home he built after the Civil War right near where he was buried is still in the family. He put is name on a big piece of granite on the chimney. Our family has always been proud of how he did all this with just one leg. I believe there are quite a few pictures in the house. When I am out there for this presentation at the end of July I'll snap pictures and/or collect as much information as I can while I am there.

Also, if you are interested in a copy of the paper, I'd be happy to email it to you. I really appreciate all you have done to help us remember where we came from.
