Appears the applicant for the stone didnt know the subjects service unit either... The notations in red appear to be added by someone within the VA system attempting to find and ascertain the subjects unit. That also might or might not be accurate. Finding a name match and just running with it... little ability to cross check much back then... Yours still might actually the real 29th Tenn subject...
