There has been much talk about raising the Tecumseh but not much action. The U.S. Navy, the ultimate "owner" of the ship is mostly opposed to the effort, citing it's "war grave" status. Additionally, unlike the Hunley, this is a quite LARGE and HEAVY ship and the effort would be monumental. Don't forget, after raising, it would require long-term preservation which, on a ship this large, would require a tremendously expensive facility and staff. The dollars just aren't there.
