Alabama or C.S. Naval Forces?

Hey y'all,
I have some questions pertaining to Confederate/Alabama Naval actions, personell and boats/ships, etc.; Today I went to the "National Civil War Naval Museum" in Columbus, Ga., which I thought was neat as heck. It is a fine museum, and now I have gotten interested in C.W. naval history. My questions are:

1. Did Alabama have its own Naval force/s or did the personel, boats/ships, etc, simply just all belong to the "C.S. Govt." or "C.S.Navy"?
2. Were there any C.S. or Alabama Naval Personel in Selma, possibly attached to the "Naval Foundry" they had there, etc., there? If so, do yoiu know if any of the Naval Personel fight in the Battle of Selma?
3. Were there any Alabama Marine units or were all Southern Marines simply members of the "Confederate States Marine Corps? And did C.S. Marines have contingents aboard boats, ships such as the "C.S.S. Alabama", and various river gunboats and ironclads, such as "C.S.Tennessee", "C.S.S.Jackson" in the same way the United States Marine Corps did?
Thanks y'all. I wonder if there are any Naval or C.S. Marine reenactment units here in Alabama?
Dave
