C. W. Martin, Capt. Breedlove's Co. 1, 34 Alabama Infantry, Corporal/Corporal.

Questions:
1. Is it likely this is one and the same person?
2. Couldn't find a Capt. Breedlove referenced for 34th Alabama Infantry, so I'm unsure of the letter designation of the company. Could the Co. "1" be Co. "I" or is it in fact Co. "1"?
3. Tried to do a search in the archives messages here, and it appears "a couple of the companies" of 34 Alabama Infantry eventually joined the 45 Alabama Infantry, per Alan Pitts, Fri Mar 16 22:34:10 2001. Was Breedlove's Company one of them?
4. After having located the March 16, 2001 message, I found a Col. Ephraim B. Breedlove listed as a "Field Officer" with the 45th Alabama Infantry at Dr. Jones' website. I found no reference to the 34th in the brief history of the 45th, however.

Any clarification appreciated.
