Hayes and Alan! Thanks for your response! My question as Hayes has related about the "Unfiled Confederate Slips and Papers"--Is anyone (the NARA) trying to try and compile them toward the CSA individuals as there are 442 Microfilms which is almost the total amount for all the CSR records for individuals in the State of Alabama? Seems like after the work at the turn of the century after compiling the CSR's, work has stopped. One hundred years later, seems like there should be some kind of effort to connect these records to where they belong.
