Morris Berry CSA? died 1881 AL

Mount Paran Campground Cemetery on Graveyard Hill at New Market has been going through a restoration...as many as 16 Confederate soldiers are buried there..including Dr. Martin Patrick Roberts, Capt. of the New Market Rebels-27th Al Inf. and many others.. we recently discovered the gravemarker of one Morris Berry- broken and almost buried in the ground...white marble with a shield in the background...he was born early 1840's and died 1894..(or it could have been 1884)...does anyone know if he was a CSA??

Mount Paran is located off Winchester Road in New Market... old muster ground and campground during Creek War... lots of history... largest slave cemetery in north Alabama...lots of preservation work in progress...
