How to determine seperation?

I have 3 relatives for which I am trying to figure out how they seperated from Confederate service, and don't really know where to start to look. (I'm in Huntsville)

1. The first is Captain Dekalb Williams of Co. F, 15th Alabama Infantry Regiment. One un-verified source shows him at home in Pike County at the time of Appomatox, but I cannot confirm that.

2. Second is Captain S.A. Williams (his first name was Simeon, but some sources sie his name as Sinkan. We have no idea why). He was with Co. A, 60th Alabama Infantry Regiment.

3. Third is Private William Tryon Hubbard, we think he was with Co. G, 45th Alabama Infantry. I know he applied for a State Pension, but I don't know much more.

thanks,
Perry
