Some candidates for the "unknown units".
In Response To: AL Burials, Comanche Co., TX ()

Board Church Cemetery: MOORE, A. J. [5 Dec 1847--22 Aug 1928] (unit unknown)

MOORE, A.J.C., Regimental Cook (of African descent) 40th Ala. Inf.

Oakwood Cemetery: HARDIN, A. D. (unit unknown)

HARDIN, Dillard (Paroled at Vicksburg.) 2nd/42nd Ala. Inf., Co. B

HARDIN, D. (possibly same as Daniel E. Hardin, also listed in this regt.; or Darcas A.R Hardin; or David Wilson Hardin. David Wilson Hardin died at Old Houlka, Chickasaw Co., Miss., and is buried there at Shiloh Baptist Church.) 40th Ala. Inf., Co. B

HARDIN, David A., 41st Ala. Inf., Co. B

Oakwood Cemetery: NABERS, T. J. (unit unknown)

NABERS, Jack, 11th Ala. Inf, Co. H

NABORS, Joel, 41st Ala. Inf., Co. B

Sipe Springs Cemetery: DUNN, M. D. [26 Dec 1847--2 Jan 1909] (42nd Inf., Co. "D")

I have developed a fairly complete list of members of this company. I have not found any Dunn’s in this company. There were several Bunn’s (with a B) in Company B. None that match these initials, however.
