If Jessee Eubanks was killed in action, it wasn't in Alexandria, Virginia. Jubal Early's raid on Washington in July 1864 (and the Battle of Monacacy before it) came nowhere close to Alexandria.

He may have died in Alexandria if he was wounded in one of those two battles or taken prisoner, so you may check hospital records for there.
